Lauren & Cody

Lauren and Cody’s wedding at the Dallas Arboretum was a true garden fairytale. Set across some of the Arboretum’s most iconic locations, their day unfolded like a beautiful love story—elegant, romantic, and full of thoughtful details that reflected their relationship and personal style.

Ceremony in the McCasland Sunken Garden

Their ceremony took place in the McCasland Sunken Garden, a quiet, romantic space surrounded by stone walls, lush greenery, and blooming florals. It was the perfect setting for Lauren and Cody to exchange vows. The blue and white floral palette added a classic, serene touch to the already picturesque backdrop. Lauren walked down the steps of the sunken garden looking absolutely radiant, and Cody’s face said it all the moment he saw her. It was one of those wedding moments I’ll never forget—pure joy, wrapped in the beauty of nature.

Cocktail Hour in A Woman’s Garden

Following the ceremony, guests were ushered to A Woman’s Garden for cocktail hour—an elegant transition that allowed everyone to explore a new corner of the Arboretum. Nestled next to serene reflecting pools and sweeping garden paths, it was a peaceful space for guests to mingle, sip cocktails, and enjoy a truly special treat: sorbet served in hollowed-out lemons.

This unique and charming detail brought back memories of the Amalfi Coast!

Reception on the DeGolyer House Patio

As the sun began to set, the celebration moved to the DeGolyer House patio, where a canopy of string lights set the scene for an enchanting garden reception. Long tables were dressed in soft linens and lined with the same stunning blue and white florals that carried throughout the day.

The DeGolyer House patio offered an intimate yet open-air feel, with string lights overhead adding warmth and charm to the evening. Guests dined under the stars, toasted the newlyweds, and danced the night away. The atmosphere was relaxed yet refined—exactly what Lauren and Cody envisioned for their wedding day.

Every detail felt intentional, from the European-inspired dessert at cocktail hour to the romantic florals and soft garden lighting. It was a day full of meaning, beauty, and heartfelt celebration.
