Nestled among the beautiful countryside just outside Dallas-Fort Worth, The Nest at Ruth Farms provided the perfect backdrop for a wedding day bursting with color, creativity, and joy. From the lush pink florals to the packed dance floor at the end of the night, every part of their day reflected who they are as a couple.

One of the first things guests noticed when they arrived was the stunning floral design woven throughout the venue. Avery envisioned a wedding filled with bright colors, with shades of pink taking center stage. The floral installations transformed the ceremony and reception spaces into a romantic garden-inspired celebration.
The breathtaking floral arch framed their ceremony beautifully and became one of the most talked-about design elements of the day. But what made it even more special was what happened after the wedding.
Rather than letting the florals go to waste, Avery and Blake chose to repurpose their ceremony arch into individual bouquets for guests to take home. It was a thoughtful and sustainable way to extend the beauty of the day while giving loved ones a meaningful keepsake to enjoy long after the celebration ended.
From Wedding Planning to Business Owner
One of my favorite details from Avery's wedding wasn't just something beautiful—it was the story behind it. As guests explored the reception, they discovered custom-designed matchbooks that perfectly complemented the wedding aesthetic. These weren't simply another personalized wedding detail. Avery actually designed them herself.
During the wedding planning process, Avery discovered a passion for stationery and event design. What started as creating beautiful pieces for her own wedding eventually inspired her to launch her own stationery company. Today, her business is thriving, and it's incredible to see how her wedding planning journey sparked a successful creative venture. Every custom detail throughout the day reflected her eye for design and brought a personal touch to the entire guest experience.

While Avery was busy building a creative business, Blake spends his days serving and protecting his community as a police officer. Their wedding day was a beautiful reflection of the balance they bring to one another—Avery's creativity and entrepreneurial spirit paired with Blake's steady, servant-hearted nature. Throughout the day, it was clear how much they admire and support each other's dreams and callings. As soon as the dance floor opened, it stayed packed for the rest of the night. Friends and family filled the reception with energy, laughter, and nonstop dancing. The excitement was contagious, and it was the perfect ending to a day centered around love, family, and community.
The joy in the room was undeniable as everyone celebrated the newlyweds and the beginning of their next chapter together.
