Caitlyn & Connor
On June 22nd, Caitlyn and Connor celebrated their love in an unforgettable wedding at The French Farmhouse Venue. The event was nothing short of a summer garden dream, with every detail meticulously planned to create a day filled with joy, beauty, and personal touches that made it uniquely theirs.
The couple chose a Summer Garden Party theme that was brought to life with a vibrant color palette of bright pinks and oranges, complemented by subtle pops of blue. The florals were a true highlight, with stunning arrangements that adorned every corner of the venue, from the ceremony space to the reception hall. The flowers perfectly captured the essence of a summer garden in full bloom, adding a whimsical yet elegant touch to the festivities.
One of the most memorable moments of the day was cocktail hour, where guests were delighted by the presence of donkeys serving drinks. This charming addition added a playful and unexpected element to the celebration, embodying the couple's fun-loving spirit.
Caitlyn’s wedding dress was a sentimental nod to her family's history. She found her gown at Mockingbird Bridal, the same store where her mother had purchased her own wedding dress 25 years earlier. Adding a heartfelt touch, Caitlyn had appliqués from her mother's dress sewn onto her veil, blending tradition with a modern twist and carrying a piece of her mother's love with her as she walked down the aisle.
The evening culminated in a unique twist on a classic tradition. Instead of the usual bouquet toss, Caitlyn and Connor opted for a t-shirt toss, much to the delight of their guests. This creative choice not only added a fun and contemporary vibe to the evening but also ensured that everyone left with a special memento from the day.
Caitlyn and Connor’s wedding was a perfect blend of elegance, fun, and personal significance. Their attention to detail and thoughtful incorporation of family traditions made the day a true reflection of their love story. The French Farmhouse Venue, with its charming ambiance and picturesque surroundings, provided the ideal backdrop for this summer garden celebration—a day that will undoubtedly be cherished by all who were lucky enough to be part of it.
