Elizabeth & Mason
When I arrived at Union House in Cleburne, TX, for Elizabeth and Mason's wedding, I could tell this day was going to be special. Elizabeth and Mason’s love story spans 3,677 days, starting in middle school, and their journey is nothing short of inspiring. From the very beginning, they emphasized their vision: a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable fun.
The day began with excitement buzzing in the air. Elizabeth was a vision in her stunning wedding gown, featuring a dramatic removable skirt with a cathedral train. As she prepared for the ceremony, her bridesmaids couldn't help but marvel at the timeless elegance of her look. Meanwhile, Mason, dressed in classic black and white, looked every bit the confident groom, ready to marry his middle-school sweetheart.
One of the most touching moments of the day happened away from the crowd, during Elizabeth and Mason's private first touch. As they stood back-to-back, holding hands, they exchanged personal vows. Their words were filled with heartfelt promises and memories from their 10-year journey together. Capturing the emotion on their faces during this moment was incredibly moving. It was a reminder of the depth of their love and the lifetime of adventures they have ahead of them.
The ceremony itself was a sophisticated affair, with black and white decor that created a perfect blend of modern elegance and romance. Elizabeth floated down the aisle with her cathedral train trailing behind her, looking like a real-life princess. Watching Mason's face light up as she walked toward him was unforgettable. Their ceremony was heartfelt, with every detail thoughtfully curated to reflect their story.
When the reception began, Elizabeth’s dress transformed—literally. She removed her skirt, revealing a sleeker silhouette and adding a fun, oversized bow to the back. This wardrobe change set the tone for the lively celebration to come.
But that wasn’t the only surprise. Elizabeth had a second dress ready for the dance floor, perfect for letting loose with their guests. Glow sticks were passed out, along with black hats for the guests and a white hat for Elizabeth, each bearing the number “3677” to mark the days of their relationship. It was such a unique and meaningful touch! The energy on the dance floor was electric, with live music adding an extra layer of joy and excitement.
Elizabeth and Mason didn’t just celebrate their wedding day; they celebrated the legacy of their love story. From their sweet first touch to their vibrant reception, every moment felt deeply personal and joyful.
As a photographer, it’s a privilege to witness and document such moments, and Elizabeth and Mason’s wedding was one for the books. Their connection, their thoughtfulness, and their ability to create an atmosphere of pure joy made this day a dream to capture.
To Elizabeth and Mason: Congratulations on your beautiful beginning as husband and wife. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and counting even more days together!
